About Me

I am very passionate about the role a whole-foods-plant- based diet and intentional and mindful movement plays in one's overall well being. My mission is to empower each of my clients to find their healthiest and happiest self. I am a certified health coach from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and I have a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from eCornell. I recently published my first book: More Plants Please. I am also a certified yoga teacher ( 500hr), cycle instructor and public speaker.

During my teens and early twenties I struggled to find the ideal diet that would result in my ideal weight, give me energy and be satisfying and easy to follow. Since 2006 I have done extensive research and educated my self on nutrition. What I discovered and experienced, first hand, is that the Standard American Diet (SAD) is making us sick because it consists of pseudo-foods made with artificial ingredients and preservatives. These foods are also heavily processed. When we get sick we rely way too much on medications which only treat symptoms and not the root causes of the problems.

I now eat a whole food plant based diet with limited gluten. Although this may not work for everyone it has provided fantastic results for me. I am easily able to maintain my ideal weight without obsessing over calories and grams. I have a ton of energy for my busy and active lifestyle. My hair and skin are healthy and most importantly I feel whole and happy.

I am often approached by family and friends for nutritional advice because I practice what I preach and I radiate health and happiness. Now that I have lived this journey I have an unrelenting passion to help others find their healthy, whole and happy path which begins with eating real whole foods, moving mindfully and removing as many toxins as possible from your everyday life.
